At the core of the FastBack is a full-length CE-approved back protector that covers the spine and shoulder blades and is manufactured by Knox to surpass the tough new EN1621-2 standard (Level 1).
The back protector utilises a Venturi cooling system, a simple yet ingenious design consisting of ridges that act like chimneys to draw hot air up and away from the body. Knox chose arrow netting for the main body of the vest. This ultra-strong sport mesh is designed to look as cool as it keeps the wearer.
A central zipper fastens it, while the Fastback is held firmly in place with a dual fastening Velcro waist belt that will suit most shapes and sizes. Waist adjustment is provided in the form of IPS side straps (Increased Posture Support), which pull the back protector close into the small of the back for enhanced comfort on arduous rides.
