Michelin Power One 120/70/17 front tire & 180/55 Power Race rear tire combo

Michelin Power One 120/70/17 front tire & 180/55 Power Race rear tire combo

Michelin Power One 120/70/17 front tire & 180/55 Power Race rear tire combo

Brief explanation of available compounds:
Medium Compound - We have found the medium compound to offer excellent grip with long life. This tire works well for track days, certain amateur racers and hard core canyon style street riding. Suggested cold pressure 24 psi as a baseline.
Medium Soft Compound - We have found the medium soft compound to be similar in many ways to the medium. It does however offer an increased level of grip as compared to the medium with a bit faster wear. This tire works well for both track days and racing. Suggested cold pressure 24 psi as a baseline.
PRE Compound - This is a Full Competition Power Race Series compound. We suggest this tire for any racing or track day rider requiring a true premium race tire offering lap record style levels of grip. As compared to the medium and medium soft tires the PRE has an increased level of grip with faster wear. Suggested cold pressure 24 psi as a baseline.
PRD Compound - This is a Full Competition Power Race Series compound. We suggest this tire for any racing or track day rider requiring a true premium race tire offering lap record style levels of grip. As compared to the medium, medium soft and PRE the PRD offers the highest level of grip. Suggested cold pressure 24 psi as a baseline.
Power One "A" Compound - This is a soft compound front which can be used in just about any temp. It has shown to be more effective than the "B" front at temps below 70 degrees. We suggest a cold pressure of 31 psi to begin.
Power One "B" Compound - The "B" compound is a bit harder than the "A" and will last longer especially in temps above 75 degrees. We suggest a cold pressure of 31 psi to begin.
Power One Standard Compound - This tire offers solid performance and offers the longest life of the Power One front tires. It is a good option for certain amateur racers and track day riders alike. We suggest a cold pressure of 31 psi to begin.

Important Note: All of the compound information above is a blend of factual information blended with experience from having used each of them personally. Understand there are many variables which can influence both tire life and performance. The information above is meant to be used a guide for reference.
