Our Sales Staff

At STG, our staff is what sets us apart from the rest. Anyone can sell by reading the generic product descriptions and looking at photos. Our guys and gals actually touch, feel and use the products - both on the street and on the race track. We know the product lines and have a diverse sales staff that can answer anything you need. Below is a good way to put a face with the name of the person you're talking to over the phone. Here's a little bit about each of them.

Brian

Brian Van is the founder of Sportbike Track Gear. You've seen the product videos he does and the quality of the products we sell is what drives the business. Van is the man running the operation and you might even catch him on the phone working with a customer if you're lucky.

• Bikes: Two 2008 Yamaha R6's.
• Type of Riding: Race track.
• Other Activities: Anything and everything STG.

Andrew

Andrew, is our main IT guy. He runs all our systems and works double duty, doing sales as well. Andrew is a student of the game. He knows all the fine details of our product lines and can get you squared away in no time. Just don't call him too early - he operates on California time.

• Current Bike: 2006 Yamaha R6.
• Previous Bikes: 2004 Suzuki GSXR 750, 2003 Kawasaki ZX6RR, 2003 & 2001 Yamaha R6.
• Type of Riding: Street and track.
• Other Activities: Freestyle standup jetski's, mountain biking, snowboarding, drums.

Alf

Alf works the showroom and is the main guy you'll talk to if you stop in to try on some gear. Alf loves riding all types of bikes, on any terrain, enjoying the street ride to a local bike night, trail riding ATV's, or hitting a trackday with the local Supermoto series.

• Bike: 2009 Yamaha WR250X.
• Type of Riding: Street and track.
• Other Activities: Cars, trucks, roller skating, relaxing on patios and hanging with his cat, Mr. Stevie B Chip's.

Aubrey

Aubrey works in sales and also in our Ebay store. Aubrey has been riding bikes for a number of years, most recently on the track as an instructor for Sportbike Track Time. This year she's looking at trying her mad skills at racing to see how many boys she can beat.

• Type of Riding: Track.
• Other Activities: Working out, eating way too healthy and avoiding all types of fake sugar like the plague.

Jason

Jason works the phones and is also one of the guys you'll see in the online forums from day-to-day. Jason is also another go-to guy when it comes to products and when he's not slinging knowledge, he works as a Firefighter/Paramedic and paramedic instructor.

• Type of Riding: Street and track.
• Other Activities: Mountain biking, guitars, softball.

Jake

Jake is another one of our sales guys. He knows his stuff and has a wealth of track experience, while racing as well. He raced with WERA for several years and in 2011, competed in the AMA Pro Supersport class with Brian on the STG Race Team.

• Bike: 2009 Yamaha R6.
• Years Riding: 4 years racing.
• Activities: WERA competitor/race winner, #42 in AMA Pro Supersport, typing instructor.

Jeni

Jeni handles the phones, as well as working in our accounting/receiving department. You'll likely talk to her when you call in, while also seeing her in our ladies apparel videos. Don't let her soft voice fool you, she rides on the track, hunts and will mess you up if you're not careful.

• Type of Riding: Offroad and track.
• Other Activities: Horseback riding, dance, guns, tumbling.

Jeff

Jeff, or Gibson as he's known around the office, is one of our sales guys. He rides everything - and we mean everything... From street to track to dirt and everything in between. His extensive riding background gives him a wide range of knowledge when it comes to any and all types of parts and apparel. Just be careful though, he's always two seconds a lap faster when he talks about his last time on-track.

• Bike of Choice: 2008 Yamaha R6.
• Years Riding: 6 years total, 4 on track.
• Other Activities: Mountain biking, hockey, skiing, dirt biking, motorsport-driven sports.

Nick

Nick is our general manager and has been with STG since the beginning. Nick does it all and is on the phone as well, working with customers. He knows all the product lines we carry and is great when it comes to suit, helmet and/or glove sizings.

• Bike: 2006 Yamaha R6.
• Type of Riding: Street and track.
• Other Activities: Mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, dirt bikes, hockey, offroading.

Phil

Phil is one of the guys on the phone all the time. So much, he's got a wireless headset he uses all the time - we never see him without it. Overall though, Phil knows his stuff and also handles all of our Ohlins sales as well.

• Bike: 2009 Yamaha R6, Ninja 250, Honda CRF 230L.
• Type of Riding: Track and race.
• Other Activities: Bluetooth technology and spending quality time with his wife, who enjoys cooking and baking.
